Upon finishing his three-year medical and surgical residency training program, Dr. Harrill worked with the Indian Health Service in Sacaton, Arizona, with the Pima Indians. This tribe has the highest incidence of diabetes in the world and consequently Dr. Harrill gained broad experience in managing diabetic foot problems. 

Dr. Harrill has also been training new physicians for over 10 years in private practice and with the Baja Project for Crippled Children. He is an examiner for the board certification process and is himself triple board-certified in podiatric medicine, surgery of the foot, rear foot and ankle, and wound care. 

Drs. Maling and Harrill were classmates in medical school and have known each other for nearly 20 years.

A significant portion of Dr. Maling's practice involves Trauma, complex Reconstructive Rear foot and Ankle problems, Pediatric Foot and Ankle problems, and Diabetic foot problems. He has also trained extensively in ankle replacement surgery and has been performing ankle replacements for 12 years. Dr. Maling enjoys working with children and is actively involved in many professional organizations and committees and continues to work hard in order to provide his patients with the best Podiatric care possible. Dr. Maling is actively involved in the training of young Podiatrists with his involvement in the Carl T. Hayden VAMC Surgical Residency Program.

MARK R. PIPHER, D.P.M.

Dr. Pipher completed a three year surgical residency in lower extremity trauma and reconstructive surgery of children and adults. He also has training and interest in diabetic foot care, wound care, biomechanics, and office procedures. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering, and playing sports.
